3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage… all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food ….into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films.

Amazing -never seen such an aesthetic and innovative composition before
This is really awesome! I’ll bet you had fun in all of those amazing places.
That’s so cool. Well made too!
Who is the man? He is amazingly attractive!
This is soo amazing, its so.. iono makes me want to go outside.
By far the best video of 2011.
This is amazing. What is the song in the background?
There is no song
Ben fatto, bel video complimenti!!!
Genius.
whats the song
All Music is composed and performed by Kelsey James and Music Recorded and is mixed by Jake Phillips
thx
cool concept but it’s making me nauseous
interesting and cool!
Cool…. who plays the music in this vid?
Wow really amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah seriously, who’s the guy?
AMAZING!
Great Idea, gorgeous shots. Not to mention how easy yall 3 are on the eyes.
Great Idea, gorgeous shots. Not to mention how easy yall 3 are on the eyes.
Awesome idea! I want to do that too!
Amazing. Enough said.
Tonnes of images of buenos aires…
Wow! Good stuff right there…
Must be nice to be rich and have your parents pay for this.
…or you know, he could have paid for it.
He did not ‘shoot 1 second of film in each location’…
I’m glad someone else thought that was dumb to say.. It’s not one second.
What an awesome idea! Very neat.
So great! some pics from Argentina
!
what amazing amazing scenery.
Simply Brilliant!!!
There are 3 guys, not just one.
Love the video!!!
Given that the video is amazing, let me just say how sizzling hot the guy is. Wouldn’t mind travelling the world with him. Oooooh, think about a gazillion one second moments.
There’s at least one transition between locales where he didn’t get the timing quite right and he appears to take two steps with the same foot, which was a little jarring. And sometimes it goes so fast that it’s dizzying. But I like the idea, and in general the final product is pretty amazing to watch.
And yeah, the title of this article is misleading. Welcome to the Internet. I suppose next you’ll want to stun us all with the revelation that this type of project–clips of world travel edited together showing the subject seemingly engaged in a continuous action as the scene changes around him, set to music–has already been done (“Where the Hell is Matt?”, anyone?)
agreed. along with the whole shooting more than a second of each location part
That was AWESOME! Kudos!
That was brilliant!!!
amazing! one-of-a-kind!
That is so cool! But he re-used some cities
. He is so HOT btw! lol just thought i’d put that out there!
this is amazing! best video i have seen yet. plus the guy in it isnt too bad
hah
He cheated. The end bit was more than one second. Just sayin’.
The title said 1 sec. of footage in each country. The description said 11 countries. This video was longer than 11 seconds…
I love to see everyone gawk over a trustfund baby and his camera.
LMAO
what is the song thats playing?
Why are some of you all such haters? This was really cool and the guys are beautiful!! Very creative and a trip of a lifetime I am sure! Can I come next time?
Wow! What a good looking guy. Like, beyond stunning. I’d love to date him and have his children. What’s his name? Anyone?
Also, nice video.
So why was there a terabyte of footage? Also what cameras did you use?
Its cool how you did this. must have taken a long time. However, you were not as consistent as you had hoped you were. There were times when the timing was off. At one point (I don’t remember what time it was) You were walking forward and then you were all of a sudden you were further behind and off to the side, then the next sec after that you were further to the other side but closer. Closer than the step I mentioned earlier before you looked as though you were further than before. Only way possible for that is if your video appears to show you skipping. You are already taking long enough strides as is.
Very cool. I bet this was fun, yet stressful to make. Don’t listen to the haters.
What a smug tw*t. A grand conceit and also obviously photoshopped some of those frames. (Look for his shadow!) Wonder what this be attached to as a viral ad soon. I mean come on!
PS. That type of music takes roughly 3 minutes to compose, 10 minutes to record for a moderate piano player and 30 minutes to mix
shouldn’t that be: 2 people travelling the world…
stupid and pointless
nowhere near as interesting as the guy who takes a photo of himself every day for 12 years
must be nice to be rich.
if you watch this and listen to the song human by the killers at 30 seconds into the song it goes perfectly with the video
love it
incredible, but I wonder: how could this possible be near 1 terabyte?
Def submit this to the Nomading Film Festival! http://www.nomadingfilmfest.com/Nomading_Film_Fest/Nomading_Film_Fest_Front_Page.html
